Lisbon
2019

ECS presented us with the challenge of solving an urban problem that was several decades old. In 2013, we began our collaboration with the urban, economic and commercial feasibility study. A competition for architectural ideas for the construction of an office tower followed. In addition to the building itself, the intervention involved outdoor space in the surroundings.

The challenge was the construction of a timeless, clear and flexible building, where constructive rationality, organizational flexibility, environmental comfort and good energy performance were central aspects of its project. In 2018, we completed the building with the delivery to the KPMG and PLMJ tenants, and in 2019, we closed the project with the sale to Deka Immobilien.

Rockbuilding was the “Project Manager”, having integrated the following services:

  • Value engineering;
  • Cost management and control;
  • Procurement and contract management;
  • Coordination of designers;
  • Licensing coordination;
  • Contract management and oversight.
