Av. República 84

The building is located on Avenida da República (identified with police numbers 84, 84a, B and C) turning to Rua José Carlos dos Santos at 9, Avenida da República at 84, in the Freguesia de Alvalade, in Lisbon, owned by CÁRITAS PORTUGUESA. The building is developed according to an “L” shaped plan that corresponds to the articulation of two volumes/bodies, one higher than the other, which accompany the height of the facades of the two different street fronts into which they are integrated; Rua José Carlos dos Santos, with 6 floors and Avenida da República, with a height of 10 floors.

The intervention proposal is based on the following fundamental aspects:

• Reorganization of the interior space of the building and consequent redistribution of the living space into smaller fractions;
• Occupation of the covered terrace areas existing at the level of the 6th and 9th floors, expanding the useful and habitable area of the building;
• Improvement of vertical circulation with the installation of new elevators;
• Modernization of the facade design through the application of new cladding materials.

• Procurement and contract management;
• Coordination of designers;
• Contract management and oversight.
